Today we have learned of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Our thoughts go out to her family and those who loved her.
Our flags at Vancouver Island University have been lowered to half-staff to mark the passing of a sovereign and in recognition of Queen Elizabeth’s seven decades as Canada’s head of state.
